Objectives of After Class
- Create a program that is inclusive and respects individual abilities, needs and strengths.

About Us
There is much intrigue around why two Parents started a Kindergarten. So, here is our story.
The idea of Play School lingered in our minds since 2015, when our first child was born to us. As we took her in our hands, she held our finger and that was the most incredible feeling we have experienced. We considered ourselves very lucky and we understood it’s a huge responsibility as well. We started researching and learning about early education and its importance and realized that first 7 years are the most crucial for a child. One of us being in the Education sector and other in Health, we decided to take this initiative.
Westwood was found in 2018 and with Parents support its growing stronger ever since Westwood is our endeavor to create a safe and friendly environment for children where they are met with the appreciation and respect for who they truly are. It is our space where we can value the intrinsic value of childhood. This is our effort at supporting working parents and particularly mothers, to pursue their ambitions and passions. Where we hope to encourage early education and see more involved fathers. Westwood is our long-term dream to influence early childhood practices in India. This is our way of making an impact, by creating an ecosystem that values a new relationship between a Parent and a child.

Admissions
WESTWOOD offers a play-based learning program for toddlers between the age of 2 year and 6 years old. Children become eligible to join us on celebrating their 2nd Birthday.
We accept a limited number of admissions across both our centers – Vijay Nagar & Anoop Nagar, LIG, Indore and enroll only a few children every year. Our intakes are in June & January of each year and will be staggered across 2 months so as to give each child undivided attention during their first weeks at Kindergarten.

Learning amid Covid -19
World is rapidly changing but none of us thought that it’ll change so much in so quickly. It is tricky to take care of everything at the same time and stress levels will shoot up. That only means that we will have to deal with much pressure and changes in the world and everyone is bound to react. We need to address that even though there are many ways to keep them engaged and educate them, we also need to understand that we have to tell them what’s happening around them as it is probably difficult for them to understand what is going on right now and how it affects their world. It may sound like it’s a lot of information to take hold of, but they are smarter than we think. Let’s share our honest emotions with them and encourage our children. It will not be easy, but we assure it’s going to be worth it. You are not alone in this; we are in this together.
Meet the Founders
Mr. Mohsin and Dr. Mrs. Minal are the Founders of the WESTWOOD INTERNATIONAL.
Mr. Mohsin completed his BBA (Hons.) Programme from DALY COLLEGE BUSINESS SCHOOL, Indore and DE MONTFORT UNIVERSITY, LEICESTER UK followed by MBA in Marketing at DE MONT FORT UNIVERSITY. The 36-year-old entrepreneur is an educationist with more than 12 years experience in teaching and counseling and is well versed in latest norms and trends in pedagogy. He strives to bring best in education with latest products and innovative techniques and methodologies like – Storytelling, Augmented Reality, and E-learning for all. Mr. Mohsin himself is a passionate Storyteller and indulges in Research & Development to bring new possibilities using his pioneering approach and proficient knowledge.
Dr Minal (Dental Surgeon), being a dentist herself knows the value of education; she is a valuable part of the organization who works diligently as Head Teacher. She is extremely passionate about kids and feels- working with kids is quite a pleasure. She oversees, manages and controls day to day work at Westwood. She aims to simplify the functional aspects of the long term and short term strategies being framed for the child’s growth and success. Dr Minal also researches and share a great deal of academic support material and content for teachers and students to ensure uniform and effective teaching-learning standards at Westwood.
